A healthy, high protein diet is essential for healing wounds.  The patients on the burn ward at Nkhoma Hospital in rural Malawi, Africa, only have one meal a day.  Many of the patients, most of them under sixteen years of age, have a degree of malnourishment before burn injury.  In order to improve the nutrition of these patients, Wyvern Academy is selling eggs in order to purchase one egg per day for every patient on the burn ward at Nkhoma Hospital.

This is a fantastic thing to do because eggs are a great source of protein and will make a considerable difference to the wound healing and recovery of these patients.

Hugest thanks to Wyvern Academy for supporting Positive Steps and making this possible!
