Over two years ago (31 December 2014), we posted news of the new insulin fridge on the medical ward at Nkhoma Hospital (purchased by Positive Steps with funds kindly donated from the Breadstock event at Burton Bradstock in October 2014).

When we returned to Malawi in October last year, Catherine was keen that we saw that the refrigerator was still working well and to tell us the difference it had made to staff and patients on the medical ward. Keeping insulin at the correct temperature is imperative to maintaining the stability of the drug.
