Ian Dawe (pictured) is a Physiotherapy Technician at Nkhoma Hospital and this laptop now allows him to work more remotely with his patients. Known simply as ‘Dawe’, he manages Positive Steps referrals to 500 Miles (the prosthetic and orthotic centre in Llongwe) and other out-reach services from the hospital, including assessing people with Cerebral Palsy for specialist chairs …

These chairs cost around £11 each and it is fantastic to see that they are making such a difference to peoples lives … this would not happen without key people like Dawe making the links for Positive Steps over in Malawi. ICT is in short supply out there and with no cost to Positive Steps, this donation is making a real difference to our work …
