You may remember that David Norton, Co-Director at Nkhoma Hospital, approached Positive Steps some time ago requesting financial assistance for Gadison, who had suffered terrible abuse resulting in the loss of his right leg. We were of course happy to help, however as a refugee from the Congo he came under the care of the UNHCR and therefore didn’t require our financial assistance. We are happy to report that he has now been adopted, lives in America and of course benefits from advanced prosthetics.
