Nick (Marsden) and I have just returned from a 10 day trip to Malawi centred around Nkhoma Hospital, reporting on the work of Positive Steps to ensure that the money raised is being spent wisely, to seek feedback on current projects and to explore future ones.

Group

Whilst in-country our trip was planned to co-inside with the Africa Burn Relief (ABR) Team; Jenn Wall (founder/director, Burns PA); Simon Talbot (Surgeon Burns and Plastic Surgery); Karly (Burns PA); and, Allyson (International Studies Student). This allowed us to support them with their logistical requirements, organising case finding for patients with burn contractures, medical photography, promotion of burn prevention program and clinical assistance within the burn ward.
