During our visit to Malawi October 2016 it was great to travel out to Fulubwa village, rural Malawi, central region and see Victor at his home. Positive Steps has had a long-term relationship with Victor and his family, working with 500 Miles and Africa Burn Relief to ensure he receives the surgeries and treatment required to ensure he can continue to walk as he grows. Victor, pictured, sustained severe burns to his legs at the age of three weeks and one of the reasons for the visit was to assess the need for further surgery and to measure him for more supportive shoes.
We are pleased to say that Victor continues to make really good progress … as you can see from the photos, he is growing into a happy and healthy young boy …
