Positive Steps funds an ambulance monthly from Nkhoma Hospital to city-based clinics, such as with the ‘500 miles’ charity based at Kamuzu Central Hospital, in Lilongwe (37 miles away). This allows patients who require prosthetic limbs, but who have no other form of transport, to get there and receive their treatment.
