Enrolled and Registered Nurses are a vital resource in Malawi’s over-stretched health care system. In 2009 Positive Steps found £2,000 (to make up the government short fall) ensuring Nurses in their final year could complete their exams.
Since then Positive Steps has been very fortunate to be supported by Daniela Weis, who, through her involvement with The Swiss Air Fund, has ensured further Nurses are trained in Malawi.
